| Anne brings a unique combination
of business and counseling skills,
and over 20 years of practical experience. In Silicon Valley she
has
held many management positions in high tech companies, including
directing a professional services organization, doing training,
and
even a brief stint in sales. She has also worked in an academic
environment at the University of California, and at non-profit organizations.
She is currently a Career Consultant in outplacement
and runs her own private practice. Anne is an Adjunct Faculty member
at Santa Clara University where she teaches in the graduate Career
Counseling program.
Anne's academic training started at Cornell University
where she
earned a BA in French Literature (with a minor in Chemistry). After
moving to California, she attended UC Berkeley and obtained MLS
and MBA degrees. She capped her education with the MA in Counseling
from Santa Clara University that has led her into the career development
field.
Anne's first serious career ambition (in 7th grade)
was to become an architect. While that did not happen, it may explain
her admiration for Frank Lloyd Wright, the Guggenheim Museum, and
the design of this web site.
